Logistics Specialist – Trucking & Air Rates (Domestic & International)

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist with at least 10 years of proven experience in securing competitive
trucking and air freight rates for both domestic and international shipments, with a strong background in
military contracting and familiarity with U.S. military depot requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate competitive trucking and air freight rates.
- Manage logistics related to military contracts and depot shipments.
- Maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with all military, government, and ITAR regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet shipping and delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of logistics experience (domestic & international).
- Hands-on experience with military depot requirements and contract compliance.
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR export compliance.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and demonstrates strong work ethic.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with coworkers at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $25.00 per hour
- 2 weeks’ vacation after 6 months of employment
